Padstow’s annual Christmas Festival see's this Cornish fishing village
come alive with celebrity chefs, culinary delights and festive fun.
 

 
VINTAGE RETRO & HANDCRAFTED FAIR

Port Isaac Village Hall   Saturday December 7th  11am-4pm
 


Sellers from all over Cornwall will congregate at Port Isaac Village Hall providing a Christmas shopping extravaganza for all. A variety of over 20 stalls include well-known West Country vintage sellers along with more local artists and artisans. Vintage clothes, accessories, jewellery, records, soft furnishings, linen, accessories and bric-a-brac will sit alongside handmade jewellery, crafts and cushions, art, pottery … and some really special Port Isaac foodie gifts including ‘made in Port Isaac’ Christmas cakes.
Make a day of it. You won’t go hungry - mulled wine and mince pies, tea and coffee, homemade cakes and homemade soup will all be available.
Entry is free and a special cake raffle will be raising money for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Plus the big man himself, Father Christmas, has promised he will call in so that children of all ages can tell him what they would like for Christmas!
And when you’ve shopped till you drop, take a stroll round the picturesque fishing village of Port Isaac that can still evoke memories of days and lives gone by despite its fame as the home of TV’s grumpy Doc Martin.

“Candlelit Counterpoint” with The Zoltan Ensemble

A wonderful the opportunity to hear these first class musicians performing as an intimate chamber group. Lowri Porter (violin) is Principal Violin with Welsh National Opera, Roz Gladstone (cello) plays regularly with major orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and Nancy Johnson (viola) plays with orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra and the English Chamber Orchestra.

Organised Bonfire and Fireworks displays in North Cornwall
 
Tintagel Football ground - Music, fun & refreshments . T.B.C.

BODMIN annual bonfire, laser show and grand fireworks display at the Priory Park football field from 6pm. Children's rides and hot dogs will also be available. Tickets £4 for adults and £3 for children on the gates. The under 5s get in free. For more info contact Bodmin Visitor Centre.

THE Well Parc Hotel, Trevone, annual bonfire and fireworks party. The bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm with fireworks at 7.30pm. For more information, contact 01841 520318.

WADEBRIDGE Young Farmers' Club holds a annual bonfire and fireworks. This year for more information, please ring Emma Sleep on 07545 612092.
 
WADBRIDGE Camels RFC are holding a bonfire on Saturday the 3rd of November from 6pm onwards.

PORT Isaac's annual firework display will be held on Saturday, November 10th. The event will take place at Port Gaverne. The bonfire will be lit at 7pm followed by fireworks at 7.15pm.
